Winter Meeting!
On January 9, the WYBDA Executive board and several WYBDA members gathered at the Center for Music Education in Waunakee, WI. WYBDA submitted 3 session proposals at the WMEA Convention Planning Session for the 2010 WMEA Conference in Madison.
The proposals included:
1) WYBDA Reading Session
2) Marching in the Middle
3) Reality Check: Recruiting, Lessons, and Evaluation.

If you have any ideas on how the website or the organization can best serve you, feel free to contact any of the people on the board or any other members. By working together, our organization only gets stronger!

Feel free to share membership forms and other organization information with teachers in your area. Also, if you have contacts at the College and University level, talk with them about getting their up-and-coming music educators students involved. We are always looking for new educators to share ideas with!

As the 2009-2010 school year progresses, this website will grow into a comprehensive portal for our organization and music education in general, featuring articles, links, and other helpful resources.
For example, the Members Only page now has a link to a forum for our group. You can pose questions, start discussions, or give feedback to other members. Be sure to bookmark the page to stay involved & informed!
